Dan, have you had Big Red on the road? Gona have to be sure to juggle dates in order for us to make it. Which is fine, glad to get enough lead time to do that. Recently got the radiator fan electrical problems worked out, so it all is looking possible. The initial road trip did not reveal other problems. It will be great to have "Silver" and "Big Red" introduced at the same Invasion. But make no mistakes, "Big Red" is the important break through car. "Silver" claim to fame is simply the extent of the modifications. Recently made a list, 41 mods so far. But wait, do mods to modifications count as two mods? Example, "Sqanta Fe" alternator on "Duratec" engine.

Dan, have you had Big Red on the road?

Just towed about 1 mile up the road to the upholstery shop. Supposed to get back this Friday or Monday, then I will be trying to road test shortly.

Mike we will be following last year's schedule-it was a busy couple of days!

Friday April 4th Set-up the swap meet in the host hotel parts room which opens at 10 AM. Snacks and drinks all day long with pizza and subs in the parts room at 6 PM. A few tech sessions during the day, tire kicking in the parking lot, and socializing all day long!

Saturday April 5th British Car Show and Tartan Day Festival at the Columbia Motor Speedway 8:30 – 3:30. Pay as you go dinner will be at The Flight Deck at 7:00 pm. https://www.flightdeckrestaurant.net/

Sunday April 6th Sunbeams head for home

So if I could go I'd be without a car. Recently at a Tiger's United, a few guys allowed others to warm up their tires

That means let known decent driver's to take a car on the autocross course. Typically the California events are designed for fun and hard spins very very rare...
I can drive ok

This is for V-6, V-8, and any other non original engines in an Alpine.

OK-we are almost a month away from the Invasion!
Todd and I met yesterday to make plans.
We have 12 Sunbeams registered so far and figure we will again have around 30 Sunbeams at the show. Early registration ends on March 22 so after that and at the gate it will cost $45. Get those hotel rooms reserved as the block of them expires soon at the lower rate. Bring lots of parts to sell at the parts room and if you can't bring a Sunbeam come join us anyway-it will keep you motivated and you'll have fun with your friends!
