Recently got our V6 running and tuned. On our way to the transmission shop to rebuild the transmission, the clutch went out. Transmission is running great, we just wanted to future-proof it before we thrash it.
We are running a stock 5/8" bore clutch master cylinder from Sunbeam Specialties and a McLoed Hydraulic Throw-Out Bearing.
Transmission won't shift when the car is on but we can shift when the car is off.
We think three things have happened.
1. Air in the line
2. Hydraulic Clutch took a poop after 100 miles
3. Clutch master cylinder is not up to the job because of the small 5/8" bore size.
We are going to try and bleed the system and hopefully, it's that simple.
Anybody got any recommendations or who has been down this road because I am strongly considering moving up to the 3/4" master cylinder for the Tiger.
