I wouldn’t ‘bang’ on anything. Use a press, so removal and pressure can be controlled.

Did these bellhousing come with bearings for the clutch fork? Mine rattles around.

I had a set of thin bronze bushhings made for one of the Mutt II that were worn. Think the machinist had to drill/ream the hole to have clearance for the shaft.

The "pins" holing the shaft in place are tapered

Do you have a pic of the bearings you made? Are the press in? Flanged?
