Center grill emblem

New Mexico Tiger

Donation Time
I need a center grill emblem for a 1966 Alpine/Tiger. It is the oval black plastic piece in the middle. I believe it was only used in the center of the grill. Apparently, there is no source at this time for the known suppliers. None of them have any that are new.

Has anyone cut down a Series III hood badge to fit the center of IV-V grill? Is it the same as stock? Thanks.
Tom

I have a nice complete unit should you be interested in going that route, but you should be able to find what you need.

That said the badge looks like a trimmed down eound bonnet badge..

This one looks correct

Originals had a small inset that allowed the badge to be inserted into the motif (surround) and secured in place by a steel friction clips on each end. The last few repros I saw were a bit different than the EOM. They lacked the recess so tape or adhesive would be needed to hold it in place. Now, this may have since been changed and, if so, please respond.

No criticism here ..... just an FYI.

Sorry, couldn't find. Having back and heart problems. Will keep my ear to the ground and eyes open.
