Greetings to All British Car Groups:
This is a reminder that pre-registration is running out for CBC-V on April 21st, 2011. As a refresher, details follow:
The British Car Club - Midlands Centre will be hosting the 5th annual Carolina British Classics Car Show, otherwise known as CBC-V, on Saturday May 21, 2011. The show will be held at beautiful Saluda Shoals Park, 5605 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC. The preparations for the event are well underway and it should be one of the best British Car shows in the Southeast, as it always has been.
Based on the growing popularity of this show in the past, we are expecting approximately 120 British cars to be on display. The featured marquee this year is Sunbeam. As before, cars in the show are judged by other participants and the winners receive awards for the best in their class. Oldies 98.5 will be back again this year playing British music over their sound system and passing out prizes. A silent auction and 50/50 raffle will be held and the proceeds go to charity. Last year, proceeds went to the Alzheimer’s Association and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. This show will continue to be a major Southeast British Car event in 2011.
Registrations are coming in nicely and we would love to have members of your club attend this year. Attached is an application for your convenience. Please remind your club members that early registration closes on April 21, 2011.
If you would like to know more about this event or our organization, you can visit our website (www.bccmc.com), or contact me by phone or e-mail. We look forward to seeing you on show day!
Sincerely,
Dave Headrick
