Anyone going to the British Motorcar Day at Berry College this weekend? We are going up Friday, coming home Sunday. Let's get a whole bunch of Sunbeams out there. Remember the last year the show was at Chateau Elon we had 48 cars, even though we were the featured marque that year. Let's get another BIG showing.

Bob,

I missed the last couple years but hope to be there this year, driving up with others from N and NE Atlanta early Saturday.

Maybe I'll have time to mount the Sunbeam mudflaps :) .

We'll be going the back way(as far as possible) from Steve's place in Roswell. I'm sorry but I don't recall the road number. Is Ellenwood anywhere between ?
If so we'd be happy to have you join us. (pm me for a phone #) Last year we were up on the hill, THE perfect spot(think Rootes has an inside edge on location).

Cheers, Tom j

Great day in Rome Ga. Weather held out and was quite pleasant, again we had the perfect spot overlooking the display field. Chance of rain kept attendance down from last year, but in all my guess, about 150 of Britain's finest. The Sunbeams drew quite a bit of interest, but the Hillman Minx won the prize for our category(much deserved, a beautiful example).
Judy should be able to post a few pictures, right Bob ?
See you guys in Greenville.

Hey Tom, Sorry I missed the Berry College Show. Just got in from tooling around town in my Alpine. Fun trying to outrun the rain clouds! I'll see you and I hope several other Sunbeams in Greenville, SC on June 6th.

Cheers,

The show in greenville that Todd refers to is going to be at Furman University on June 6, held in conjunction with a Highland Games event. Our local club is sponsoring the show, so I will be there with my alpine, and there should be several other Sunbeams there as well. Along with Todd and Tom, I hope some more SAOCA guys can make it.

I had posted this link in a previous post, but here it is again. The early registration ends on 5/22. And remember, that you get a ticket to see the Highlad games with each registration, so it should be a fun day at the carshow and the games.

We had 2 Series IIs, 2 Series 3s, a Series IV(Airpine), 2 Tigers, and the award winning Hillman Minx convertable (as Tom mentioned, well deserved)

Tom,
Sent you the pictures via email this morning. I hope you can get them posted, I always seem to have problems. Good luck.
