I recently stumbled across a source for an updated 4FJ fuse box that uses blade type fuses
Problem is........ I forgot where the bookmark went:(
Has anyone coime across this? Used them? Thoughts?

Thanks again

Jim, You Know, ...asking them Old Electrons to go through

them New Fuses is just Asking for Trouble.

...the Next thing you'll do is Want to ADD fuses.

Where Will it end? ;-)

What's wrong with tinfoil and a nail?

Some have suggested an OEM/NOS Sunbeam/Hillman IMP fuse box,

But I just Don't See it...

I don't think I recall ever seeing anybody reproduce this part.

Might be a good idea for someone so inclined.

The NOS units have gotten prohibitively costly.

Just a thought,

I do wonder how they work out which fuses to use in that box. As many of you know, British fuses are rated in a totally different way than US fuses, so how does one determine what the correct fuse is for a given circuit?

I built this for my series 2,it mounts under the dash.

Fuses are intended to protect wires and the fuse rating should be chosen accordingly. Put simply, the fuse should blow before the smoke is released from the wire. As to how fuses are rated, the available evidence strongly suggests that the British automotive industry has never really understood electricity, much less wiring and fuses.

Anyone know where I can get that wiring harness smoke for a NEG ground system ..

Also, I am very happy with Rebel wiring harness quality, layout, and ease to install IMO. Did have to crimp/solder a lot of terminal ends and used a ton of heat shrink.

I used the tin wrapper from a chewing gum wrapper once on a friends Harley once. Now that’s sketchy.
