We’ve seen Alpines with Miata engines… but here we have…. a Miata, covered with Alpine-style panels! As seen at a show this weekend in Bristol, CT.

It all fits together so well it's flawless... hard to tell in some places which is the Alpine and which is from the Miata. Wow.

I feel it is one of the best fits with keeping the styling of the Alpine while having modern car features.

that ad says rotary engine, so a different donor.
Yes quite a nice early SIVGT with a mazda 13B rotary.
Odd the massive hood scoop... the rotary puts out a lot of heat... wouls have been better to louver or reverse scoop.

I see a late 50's ford in the backround, surprised it was not converted to a Tiger clone.
Iirc this car was for sale a few years bavk and did sell...the wheels and GT ..and the rotary being the thing that jogged my memory.. so maybe the guy is the purachser not builder.

There were 2 other roatry series alpines i recall.. but they for some reason had used a 12A ... made no sense unless you had one sitting around.

Miata? …or is it an RX-7 (rotary)?
My bad. Yes, it is a rotary.

I have three Miatas - 2006 SE, two 1st edition - one running and a parts car. Always consider an Alpine fusion. Two many other historic projects are way ahead of the restoration line.
