About once a month, I cannot get onto this site. I get an error message saying the site is not secure. This time it lasted two days.

I have been getting more of that type of thing, not from this site so much,

I attribute that happening to the fact I operate mostly on

the TRAILING Edge of Technology!

Win 7 FOREVER ;-)

I don't use Edge, but doing a web search of "microsoft edge site is not secure" yields many sites with various suggestions for things to try to address the issue.

It has more to do with the authentication of the "website certificate credentials"
If it is a trusted site like ours, no need to worry. Scroll down to "advanced" and accept risk.

Well, just as a side note, Mrs spmdr, Marie

needed a New laptop. So an IT pro picked an HP

with Win 11. It was setup with All the latest

updates. It Took about 3 HOURS! (IT Pro did it)

This was a few days ago....

Stop the clock ...Today!

The New computer STOPPED working with a Bug!

and the wonderfull doom and gloom Page!

The Mouse stopped working so Marie handed it

to me.

I shut off Chrome and restarted it, seems OK.

...ask Me how IMPRESSED I am with Win 11 !!

In the mean time, I continue to use Win 7 with

an updated solid state drive, NO issues since

installing the drive, several YEARS ago...

I'm happy for you DW. My HP desktop with Windows 7 on a solid state drive started pausing and erratically processing for long periods of time. Then I get a notice from HP that they will no longer support updates for my 12 year old computer. Forcing me to acquire a new computer with Windows 11. Sheesh, it took me days to sort all of this transition out and I'm still dealing with an occasional issue. So much for vintage technology having any future value like vintage cars.
