the rotorooter was driven to SUNI 1 by some folks from the area. they were back in harrisburg setting in the toll booth at the harrisburg east exit of the turnpike when it was hit by a car that lost it's brakes. the driver said he chose to hit tom's car rather than hit the concrete protecting the toll booth. the rear was pushed to the rear axle. he offered to sell it to us and also include a complete car for parts but the shop that restores bodies for us wouldn't touch it so we passed. that was in 1989. tom later sold it to another TE/AE owner and i believe it is stored on his farm in the w.va panhandle. tom and i were talking about it last week. i guess nothing has ever been done as far as repairs.

Thanks Bob. I was wondering about it at the Invasion but forgot to ask Tom. There was a rotary powered SV Alpine in the Ozarks, about 3 hours from here, but I lost touch with the guy a while ago. It does make an interesting conversion and as I recall, didn't require a steering modification.
