Overdrive and transmission for a series 5 Sunbeam Alpine, ( see photos for series and date ), Provenance: I purchased this complete unit from a gent in the UK 10 years ago via Ebay, he claimed the unit had been rebuilt and was for a project car he had sold. all the gears shift smoothly and turn. I have an early Alpine I was planning on installing it into. Now I'm selling the car without the install. I have collected some needed parts for this install, including the 36" drive shaft, extended speedo cable. overdrive switch, new OD solenoid. I could sell these as well. The overdrive is in SoCal with my car I am planning on bringing them back up to the bay. I could ship the unit if payment is made. I chose not to use Ebay as it is rife with scammers and their seller protections are not existent. And the fees way too high., I May post On the clubs website if I don't have to pay high dues to do so. because I never installed the unit and got it to give it a try. Logically I can't guarantee i it perfect operating condition it's sold as-is. I did pop the tranny shift cover to check on the cleanliness and it was spotless clean. see photos no low=ballers. let me know if you are interested.

No confusion, the Craigslist ad says was bought out of the UK rebuilt and with all the parts...
Jeff on the forum often offers such kits from the UK...just seeing if he recognises the setup/seller.
