I would appreciate any suggestions and / or warnings about taking on such a project.

Hi, I am looking at a 5 speed celica gearbox (steel case) conversion for my Alpine. I have received an up to date price list of the parts required for the conversion (less the garbox) from Dellows Automotive. I will try to get it posted on the forum or I can email it if required. Dan, I would like to buy your adapter, if available. It would give me momentum!I made my Sunbeam Alpine Bellhousing Adapter using a FORD T5 so that I could replace an Overdrive tranny that was needing rebuild. The rebuild was going to be much too costly, even more than designing, laser cutting the Adapter and purchasing a T5. Decided to offer it to the Sunbeam World as I did not know of all these sources you guys are now enlightening me to.
I think it is Great! Keep'em-on-the-Road
It is from about 20 years ago and may not be relevant, but still something to consider.
Dan, I kinda thought you may have already had that one since it is only about two and a quarter hours from you. Thanks s usual, Don. I will keep this reference.
Don, you made a point about how close they are. Might just go pay them a visit AND take along a T5Dan, I kinda thought you may have already had that one
