2.8 flywheel Ranger flywheel in the Mustang II bellhousing

Actually, they usually use the Mustang II flywheel too. They are using the 94 and later T5 with the Mustang II bellhousing. Mustang II pilot bushing. Dan R used to sell a spacer for the shorter 93 and older T5. Some have used longer pilot bushings instead.
 
Thanks for the info. I have a 2.9l ranger flywheel that has been laying around for about 30 years. So I was going to try and use it.

Dan also sold one for the later T5 as well. He said the longer input shaft just barely reached the pilot bushing. I bought one for the later T5.
 
I need to look into it. The 2.9L flywheel has a raised step where the pilot bearing goes compared to the Must II flywheel shown in Dan R's article.
