15" Mini lites

@mxp01

This is the area im specifically referring to.. you can see on this car...the outside wheel when turning brings the tyre edge very close.. often why so many cars have a trimmed valence.

When you change offset. Wider tyres or large radius.. or the springs compress over time.. that clearnce gets close.. when tou go round a corner if the outside suspension compresses... you get a nasty surprise....
And yes... dont ask.....
Thanks that's my concern

I have 15”x6” wheels with 25mm offset.

I put 185/60 on the rim and have about 1/4” of clearance when the wheel is cut hard right and left.

@mxp01 your #2 photo shows a very stock tall ride height.
What worries me is how close the clearance is even with your height and only a 185/60... any slightly lower car.. a 195 or a bump and big risk of the ture catching.

I did new springs, shocks, ball joints, tie rods 20 years ago. Yea that is old now but not a lot of miles and only garage kept.

Drove a lot with these tires, curvy roads, bumpy roads, speed bumps and humps. The tires did not rub at all.

I don’t think 195s will clear. When I was doing the math it only came out to be 1/8” clear so I backed off to 185s.
