15" Cobra ( faux Halibrand) after market wheels?

In-between tending our 4th. of July BBQ'd brisket and looking around online ... I came across this .. https://www.ebay.com/itm/318521731908 .. been looking at this type of wheel for one of my kittens for sometime, really like these wheels & spinners! .. though as the seller told me in vague terms, these are 9 & 10" wide wheels he thinks?. Seems the Alp is sitting awful high to clear those wheels? What ya' think? .....

Wow! Pretty high price. If you like the look, there are new ones in Ford/MGB 4.5 bolt pattern for $250 each from Legendary Wheel. I will do the Vision Torque 15 x7 in Ford 5. x 4.5.

Id say the seller isnt too sharp if he thinks 9-10" wide.. Firstly.. no chance they fit a sunbeam...second.. you can see the tyres are 205 width and 15s .. so likely 15 x 6-7"

That was my first thought Jim .. how about the one Lat wheel for $10,000 listed on ebay .. crazy! .. I've seen the wheels you posted .. 108's (4.25") 4 lug is what I'm looking for .. don't want to redrill for 5 lug. I just thought the Alpine in the ad was sitting really high to be able to accommodate 9 and 10" wide wheels without fender mods..

I think the wheels maybe 15x7 & 15x8 tires are 205/50-15 & 225/50-15. I am running 185/55-15 on 15x6 & 205/50-15 on 15x7 and they just fit under my series 2, those don't look like they are under the car at all.

I thought the same thing about the ePay listing. Add to the LAT wheel guys would ask me when I had LAT 9s and 70s for sale to break a set as they had 3 so they are out there. Then there's a fellow that balked at a set of the early 70s then ended up buying them . It's stupid expensive to ship anything.

I just looked at the photos.

The width has nothing to do with ride height.. only track.. wheel dia and tyre sidewall will impact the ride height.

Looking at the photo no way they are 9" on the front.. and i doubt on the rear.. the wheels look aligned to the edge of the lips front and rear. Thry apear a staggered set... i stand by 15x6 and 7. maybe 15x6 and 8

Right under the wheel pics the title says 15 6-7. I agree with John, tire size probably 205 50 front and 225 50 rear.

I have done a lot of work to my car that my spec's not work for a Sunbeam. For example, I cut down a Mazda RX7 rear axle, re-drilled the front to 4 on 114.3 to match the rear, rolled the rear and trimmed the front just for starters.

If you look at the add real close and zoom in, you can see the tires are 205 and 225. I am guess they are 8"and 9" based on the tire size looking at the sidewall. Here's an old picture of my car with the same tires, but on 6 x 14 and the tires are 185's, compare the sidewall. 185 = 7.25" a 6" wide rim would be close to 7" wide O.D. A 205=8" and 225=8.85" in the pictures it looks like the rims are a little wider then the tires.

In the pictures it looks like the rims are a little wider then the tires.

The tyres front rear appear to be wider than the rims you can see the sidewalls extended beyond the rim edge...you see the taper of the rubber inward to the rim edge.
Also the tyres block the view of the rim. If the rim was wider youd see the rim edge around the interface

You are right based on a normal tire. I had these same Yokohama AVS ES100 tires on my car years ago, they were an ultra high performance summer tire that had a very large bead that went over the rim by around 3/8" with a heavy sidewall that made the rim look a lot narrower then it was, I have never seen this on any other street tire, it was almost like an off-road tire bead. I always hated the look of it, but they handled awesome. I guess the good thing was you could never hit your rim on a curb. You can see it in this picture of my car.
