    Sourcing Bell Housing D4ZA-6394 CC with Clutch Fork

    Bellhousing is hard to come by. People on the forum have some. I got lucky on eBay and got found a new old stock fork. You can always use a hydraulic throw-out bearing. I used one from McLeod but it failed on me after 100 miles. These came off Mustang 2s.

    The bell housing has been ground down on the side to allow for the new slave cylinder on the 2.8L engine. 4-1/2" has been passed down to me as the correct length via this blog post which follows Jose's kit closely. http://v6alpine.blogspot.com/p/blog-page.html

    Update: I have the longer input shaft. We milled down the pilot bearing shaft to the proper diameter. We have milled the throw tube down to 4.5" from the back of the flange to the end of the tube. I will grind the bell housing where the original slave was. All set to go.

    I'll measure the total input shaft today. The throwout bearing already sits perfectly on the input shaft bearing retainer. I believe the retainer has also been shortened to 4". Again, I'll verify everything tonight. Attached shows the tag of the transmission. V6 Mustang tranny. 1352-236
