    generator looking alternator

    anyone have any info on an alternator that looks like an original generator? I can find very little info even from the auto parts box store that can get them. Will have to get it in to find whether it is a one wire style. I like the idea of this. Help PawPaw

    This is a series 3 engine. The tube comes off of the oil pan. Not the block.

    The engine is on a stand and is complete. So, I just need to catch broken piece with a hook of some type and should come out?

    Builder broke upper part of oil dip stick tube. Found replacement. Is the tube held in with an adhesive? Will have to remove original piece as old one is broke flush with tube coming oil pan. Thanks for any advice. PawPaw

    Thanks. I did find a cap on ebay uk. 15GBD. Had to play with the shipping. They did not ship the to colonies. A buddies niece lives in London and i sent it to her. Her dad is a commercial pilot and he brought to Birminham for me. Still looking for a window track. Here is a pic.

    I found a NOS cap in britain for 15GBP. They don't ship to the colonies. Worked around and found a buddy with a niece living London. Part will be here by the end of the month. Yeah.

    Are there any difference between front and rear bumpers. Going to have to build a form so I can straighten the ones on by series 1. No major dent or ceases, Just a little out of square so to speak. I'm sure they follow the curvature of body? PawPaw

    I need the rubber from the blower to the heater box for my series 1. I have included pics. The only thing I've seen new is for a later model that has a drain included. I can probably by the new one and cut on it, that just goes against the grain. Anybody? PawPaw
