    @SoCal'beaming I forgot i had the center console on a shelf. sanded, painted, and wrapped in foam and vinyl. not my best work, but definitely presentable, and fits well with the seats.

    Its a fixed bucket, but there is an angle adjustment on the 914 bracket itself. I opted to remove it to simplify my bracket but it looked reasonable to keep that option if you wanted more of a lean

    Mine didnt come with one, so not sure. They touch the tunnel sides but arent majorly pressing on it. Ill be making my own console most likely.

    I did just order some Hylomar. Never used it before, but recently keep hearing about its wonders. So maybe thats the game plan. I had the paper gasket from a kit so just assumed itd be easier to remove the collar, pop out the seal, and just use the new gasket. Had I known I would have just left...

    @spmdr right after looking how id cut the gasket and sneak it around without tearing it, i did contemplate just rtving it, and wiping the excess well so the bell housing snap fits well. Agreed, not the "right way" but this is a fun project car, not a total restoration. If it works it works...
