Columbia, SC Invasion March 27+28 2026

I won't be bringing my collection of bits this time, but if I happen to have anything here that someone attending the parts room or show is interested in, I can bring. I will peruse the parts room as usual, but if anyone is attending that happens to have an uncracked series 3 ST dash bezel for...

I'll be there at the hotel and the car show/Tartan Festival... less a Sunbeam. Looking forward to it. Rick

    side window adjustable lower pad

Yup. I overlooked them on a strip down of a door for parts last year that was damaged beyond repair otherwise. They are all that way apparently. Rick

    side window adjustable lower pad

OK, I have a pair from some spare doors I had. Not pretty, but neither were the ones I refurbished in the photo I posted earlier. One is bent and can easily be straightened out. Then wire brush and paint them and glue on a pad of some sort. I think I used a piece of felt weather strip. The...

Series II - Carb to Manifold Gasket

WTF. None of the spare Zenith carb sets I have, all mounted on manifolds, have those spacers. All have the heat insulator Bernd mentions however. Odd that they are missing from my entire spares collection. So if you are missing the heat insulators, which I have pictured, you are welcome to them...

Series II - Carb to Manifold Gasket

My bad. I am just noticing you need the lower spacer, not the one in the carb. Duh. Lemme check for those as I may have them as well. Sorry. Tired today. Rick

Series II - Carb to Manifold Gasket

See if these look like what you need. They came off nicely. Hard to tell, but looks like the gaskets may not be there on either side. May be real thin and compressed. On my carbs in my car, the gasket's outside diameter is ever so slightly larger than the spacer. If you want them, PM me your...

Series II - Carb to Manifold Gasket

I just checked. I thought I had one spare set, but I was wrong. I had three spare sets. Ha. But they are on spare carbs. Gimme some time to carefully remove them and they are yours for the price of shipping. I'll try to get to it by tomorrow and let you know. Rick

Series II - Carb to Manifold Gasket

I may have a spare set. I have to navigate across the backyard ice to the shop to go dig for them. Rick

    Ohhh... celle-ci est vraiment jolie.......

Be nice to see more photos. Text says Mark V. Hard to tell, but looks to have the hard cover over the soft top area, so not series V. Too nard to tell if no SUNBEAM lettering on the bonnet that I can see and I believe that ended in series 4. Can't quite read the emblem on the wing. I used to...

That link is kind of goofy, but I eventually got it. Cool.

    Series v rear brakes

And of course adjusting self-adjusting brakes doesn't seem to make sense, but it is the initial adjustment after replacing parts that that is intended for. I have found that the star wheel teeth wear and the adjusting arm lever that attempts to see if it can catch one of the teeth each time you...

    Stromberg Damper Oil

Good stuff. Interesting that the volume goes down just at the end where he talks about damper oil and fill amount. Lots of opinions here and elsewhere on the type of oil to fill the dash pots with. I searched Tik Tok and am now using AI Juice, which is available through Alibaba. LOL. Happy...

    SV alternator Lucas 23528B

Yes, that was the standard wiring schematic. For the record, my changes were as follows:

    SV alternator Lucas 23528B

I'll put myself in the lucky camp as it went well for me. But I am here knocking on wood just in case. Ha. But to add support to your argument, I have heard of at least one other that had to move the bracket in the opposite direction I did to get the pulleys lined up. You mention "clones" and...

I actually DO still implement the relay in my set up to grab the voltage sense although Tom bypasses it with a direct connect. It works both ways. Which of the wiring diagrams you are using? This color version as shown below?
