    with the mentioned return of the offy and Holly 4 barrel - I would ask does the height of the carburetor change such that the hood/bonnet does not fit? I have a 1977 Mustang 2.8 in an early 63 Alpine and the hood closes nicely with an adequate air cleaner on the 2 barrel Holly - do I need to...

    A guy in Michigan has a 60's Alpine for sale with solid knock off wheels - he told me they came on the car so he doesnt really know much about them. Does amyone know what these wheels are - very plain and appear to be steel wheels. I would appreciate and information. Thanks CM

    I think so, mine is an early Mustang, 1977 2.8 V6. My son purchased the Alpine with the engine installed some time ago.
