What condition were you hoping to find this in? I've got a couple but they're pretty well used. They will however hold the wheel on. Tom j

    1725 Cylinder Head

When I was going to use this head , a trip to the machine shop was in the plans, it's got plenty of room to be "shaved" I don't remember much else about it. It is the style you're looking for, no plug tubes. Give me a couple days to round it up. Tom j

    1725 Cylinder Head

Have you had any luck with a cylinder head ? Where are you located? I've got a couple in storage one of which I was going to use on my 1725 but I've decided that it's not necessary to do so. It's one of the heads that have the spark plug slot instead of the tubes. I can dig it out and send...

Series v air cleaners on cd 150s

It is, I've got the K&N filter in the stock filter housing, I believe you can also buy just the housing. The K&N sits just a bit higher but it doesn't change anything. I'll post a couple pictures tomorrow. Tom j

    Dash pad install

While doing my dash pad, lots of triming, and foam sanding . Then many, many dry fittings. Take your time and be aware of all the extra pad material and seams on the car especially underneath where the dashboard goes. Best of luck, Tom j

Replace seat foam in a series V

I just did the seat bottoms in my car, you'll probably want to replace the diaphragm also, it's quite a chore to get that done. Search the site for seat rebuilding I made a jig to hold the frame while stretching the rubber . Maybe Jan S. will chime in as that's where I got the plan to install...

2024 GREAT SCOT! BRITISH CAR SHOW

We're in. The bands that were playing at the games last year were extremely entertaining, the fire display to the Game of Thrones theme was a highlight ( and I've never seen a minute of that show). Greenville is a nice city to visit. Tom j

    Pleasant Drive

It was way past time to get LC (Series V) out on the road again as she's been taking a back seat to the V6 project. Headed to the northeast Georgia mountains on Sunday morning, lots of mighty fine driving on the way to Clayton, GA. Late breakfast at the Rusty Bike Cafe, busy but not packed...

    Shocks

Don't believe I want to remove the spring as I didn't enjoy the process of installing them, however I don't have that much compression on the front end. The shocks installed are KYB I have no idea what the p/n is as the box is long gone, they were purchased from a import car vendor although...

    Boot weatherstripping

Well I don't have a fuel smell in the cabin, the cross over pipe is metal (its painted so I can't tell what type.) I've installed the shock top rubber covers( thanks a ton Steve) but the hard top is off so until we put it back on there's no fume problems. Again I'd like to thank everyone who...

    Boot weatherstripping

Sure smells like exhaust fumes, I've re- checked (a few times) fuel leaks on the manifold which were there when first setting up the engine but I believe that problem has been solved. As far as a poor seal on the headers I did use the "crushable " gaskets although not the extra bottom bolt...
