    The one thing I hate about my 67 is the huge goofy black mirrors the previous owner installed. They just don’t stay adjusted. I’ve measured the holes and there aren’t any mirror sets with the same center to center measurement.

    Coolant bypass. The one marked FOMOCO 73 has a noticeably larger diameter. The remaining two, aluminum marked MEX and the black one, no marks but magnetic.

    My blue V6 came with a 3.31 Dana 44 so when I used the 2.95 first/.68 fifth it fell flat on its face going into 5th at freeway speeds. I did a calculation and the .80 fifth raised the rpm 400 which put it in the sweet spot. Was never happy with the first but if I can got the first ratio...
