    HLM rear vent cover removal

Morning Gents, I'm working away on my HLM and trying to remove the 3 slat aluminum vent covers that are behind the rear windows. I have the headliner out, but have no clue how these are attached. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks, Jeff

    S1 Alpine rear drums wanted

    I. could be wrong on that, but, somewhere along the way "somebody" told me so, and it seemed to make sense. So use either at your own discretion and I'll just shut up now.

    S1 Alpine rear drums wanted

Be sure the drums are for the correct application ie. wire wheel drums are different than disc wheel drums. Wire wheel type has four 2in slugs cast into the front face for supporting the lip on the wheel.

Series II - Oil Pump (rebuild)

The workshop manual has the measurements needed to check the wear on your old pump. Sometimes you can resurface the bottom plate and gain oil pressure. I just went through this last year, I did, (with the help of a friend with a Bridgeport) install a new shaft and rotor. Drilling the new shaft...

Which treads in S2 B post caps

Thanks for the pic! I see the shoulder on your original bolt is narrowed where it fits through the bracket. What is the length from top to tip? I will get you a pic of my deal. You're a good man Bernd, thanks for helping out.

Which treads in S2 B post caps

I don't know Bernd, One side had a beveled hole on the hard top bracket that was less than 5/16. I drilled it out to 5/16 and the bolt wouldn't catch in the B post cap hole. It seems to be an odd size. between 5/16 and 1/4. But thanks for your reply.

Which treads in S2 B post caps

Trying to bolt on my new hard top and finding different size treaded holes in the B post caps. 1 is definitely 5/16 fine, the other is between 5/16 and 1/4. 5/16 being too big. and 1/4 being too small. Anyone know what the original set up was. SS and CS don't carry these bolts any longer. Any...
