Scuttlebutt on another site is that these cars are shipping to Canada. As some MK2s had to be shipped there. I've heard that story before and I am guessing it's because they did not comply with FMVSS for 67

There are at least 6 x MKII in the photo as the other sunbeams in the front row near the xke are also egg crate grill and non peak lights..

The wonder if the sunbeams in the mid and back rows are mkii or series V...

Why would the Mk II have a UK plate?
2 reasons..
1. Rootes offered a buy and drive plan for people visiting.. You bought the car..drove it around UK and eu and they would ship it back for you.
2. Servicemen could buy the cars use ans have them shipped back.

Note how the car isnt protection wrapped as all the new cars are.
