My Series V input shaft OD measures 0.6245. Full disclosure: measured with Harbor Freight 6" digital caliper.

The Alpine pilot bearing/bushing has nominal dimensions of:

OD .875"
ID .625"
I can confirm to the best of my ability the above is correct.

I went through four Alpine tranny's yesterday, all were the same.

But it does have some clear 5th gear numbers.

Note, I have NOT seen a T5 page web info that is 100% correct, or complete!

An example, In the Stangnet link, the ratios of a #251 trans does NOT have a .68 5th gear.

Also, in the Tigers United T5 info, I never put a #253 trans in a Tiger, the number should

be #251....
