twautomotive,

Is this the same source that thought the Alpine GT coupes were worth over $20,000 a few years ago?

The completed auction results for Huskies on BaT certainly don't support this fantasy.

Take those NADA values with a grain of salt. The average retail value for a 1969 Sunbeam Alpine GT fastback is $27,700, or about twice what I've heard of ANY of those cars ever going for.

Yeah. Those NADA guides were used by DMV to value my Alpine for calculating the tax for transferring my Alpine into Delaware. They were jacked up and cost me extra $$.

North Carolina only uses NADA for tax values. I was taxed for a value over $32k in 2014 when I got my s2 back on the road. They wouldn't accept any arguments, but an option to register as an antique where the maximum tax value is $500.
