There is no easy way. I worked my seal in a little at a time using a wooden tongue depressor. I placed the upper portion of the seal in place and used the depressor to tuck the bottom in. It's slow work, but it can be done.

I use a little waxoyl in the channel to lubricate things and pour hot water on the seal to make it very flexible then work it into the channel AND over the front lip of the hard top at the same time using a blunt screwdriver. It is not a fun job.

An old credit card or similar makes a better tool than blunt screwdriver.

I have been thinking of using sylglide for lubricant and some 0.40 plastic sheet! Thanks for the hot water suggestion.
