looking for driving light mount

Does anyone have or know where I can purchase mounts for driving lights for a SeriesIV? I did see the ones that attach to the hood brackets or even a special mount that attaches to behind the bumper. I think the lights look good on an Alpine if they are not oversized. Anybody?

I'm in the same boat. I've been looking for a set of brackets to attach to the accessory bar for months. I'll probably end up just making them but I'd like to be able to just grab some.

I like the lights. I have a set of Lumax (D1 and DF1) ready to install.

I would also like to find good brackets for driving lights. I had some on an earlier car, but they were not sturdy enough, and the lights were shaking when I drove at night, and it was annoying. I would prefer bumper brackets rather than using a badge bar.

As far as I know, you have three options, short of fabricating your own. 1. You can find someone with a set of original Rootes brackets or badge bars and persuade them to part with them. I suspect this will not be easy, but they do exist. 2. You can also see if anyone here has one of the reproduction badge bars that Ian Spencer (aka Alpine Ian) had made about 10 years ago. (2a would be seeing if Ian has any left, which I doubt.) 3. You could post something on the SAOC's website to see if any of their members would part with one of the reproductions sets they had made a number of years ago. Options 2 and 3 would only be expensive, as opposed to very expensive for Option 1.

Photos of various brackets that I have. The first two are Lucas . I've had several of them reproduced. I would have to check to see if I have some left. lamp brackets 005.jpg lamp brackets 004.jpg lamp brackets 003.jpg lamp brackets 002.jpg lamp brackets 001.jpg lamp brackets.jpg
