1960 Alpine For Sale in Arizona

Hey guys. I've got a project Alpine that I am considering letting go. Here is what I know about the car. I bought it just as you see it. Someone years ago was planning on doing a Tiger swap I am assuming and removed the center section of the firewall and trans tunnel. My plan was to do a Tiger build as well so it didnt bother me as I would have to do the same thing. Overall it's a pretty solid car. There are holes and bubbles in the rocker panels and the lower rear quarter panels. Also a couple of holes in the front floor. Otherwise shes solid. It has the folding top frame and I also have the aluminum roof along with the back window and trim. Included is the original engine with intake and carbs, but no transmission or driveshaft. Car is complete otherwise. I also have another complete windshield frame with glass. Asking 2,000. You can call me direct at 480-620-0962 or email me at carsbydennis@hotmail.com

Thanks for your time.

Tiger Alger Transmission Tunnel for V8 Project 20181117_170712.jpg Tiger alger Transmission Tunnel for V8 Project 20181117_170617.jpg Tiger Transmission Mount Bracket Fab'd by DanR 20180327_104448.jpg IF you find a buyer and his/her plans are to continue with the V8 modification, I have the remains of a started Alger, the fire wall and the transmission tunnel with plenty of the metal around the area for a good start on a Project V8.

I also have the Tiger transmission mounting bracket .

This is a Series I and now rare here in the UK. I'm thinking early production too, with the side hinged console lid and white piping on the door cards. What's the survival rate like in the USA for SIs? Shame it's been so hacked about, otherwise it would be a good restoration project. Steve

The survival rate for series 1 is small. The last series 1 I've seen for years was ours.

Somebody please save this car then! Preferably as a S1 by reinstating the missing gearbox tunnel and bulkhead section, rather than as a misbegotten Alger, but that would be better than breaking it for parts. Steve

I have a Series I Alpine that has been sitting in my garage for 10 years. If anyone is interested in the car PM me and let me know.
