Here are the Ball & Socket Headers

First three PIC;s are of the Ball&Socket type StraightBack Headers.(Sides & back view).

Fourth is a view from under Sam's Car (The Green1) getting fitted. The under side shows my design for the T5 Mustang Transmission (one piece formed without welding) which allows a better flow for the dual exhaust piping.

The last PIC is showing how I have modified my heads (Emission/PCV Holes) by drilling and tapping for 10M 1.5 threads (1/2 to 5/8" deep) so that the bottom of the exhaust header flange can be made secure for future exhaust leaks. Just below the exhaust ports for Cylinders No 1; No 5; No 2; & No 6.

I finally found a source for the Metric header bolts and studs. M10 1.5 with 12 point heads 12.9 hardness. A metric box end wrench (12 point work beautifully. If interested is a permanent fix for your leaking exhaust $ 1.00 each your choice bolt or stud plus shipping.

For Sale StraightBack Headers

Now taking orders for the new straightback headers similar to the Tiger type exhaust system.

Cost: $675.00 plus shipping Comes with Ball & Socket connection for the exhaust. Bolts and nuts furnished. Plus Metric Header bolts furnished.

Recommend you get the most out of these headers by modifying your heads by drilling and tapping the emission/pcv holes. Tap for 10 mm metric 1.5 threads approximately 5/8" deep. I'll furnish the studs with the headers.

Interesting Trans mount, who would have thought of it. Has it been stress tested just wondering about flex, but it looks like pretty thick material.

Thanks for the interest!

It was designed specifically by me for added clearance under the Alpine with the Dual Exhaust similar to the Tigers.

An Engineer drew the Bracket for me and gave His blessing.

Then, laser cut, "formed" by a huge Hyd Press in one piece 3/8" thick metal.

Yes, it has been installed on different Alpine V6's and on the road for several years. No flex.:)
