I am trying to mount the original horns in the correct orientation , what side does the High tone (marked H at the opening) and the Low tone (also marked) go ?

I had already asked a ? about the horn brackets and fabricated lowering bracket since I seemed to be missing one , I sandblasted my brackets and cleaned my horns and painted I am trying to button it all up but ...

right now I put the H on the passenger (USA) side but the L also could go there too , the way it curves around is different and it may be designed that way to keep debris and water from entering it , I also want it to look correct !

please take a look for me, thanks !

Den, I think you have it backwards. On my SV, the Low horn is on the US passenger side and the horn output faces more or less toward the center of the car, not facing full forward like yours. I put the horns in about 30 years ago , and I assume I had some reason for putting them that way.

You can also look at this photo:

from Mike Hartman's site. It seems to show the horn facing more like mine than yours.

Thanks Tom , I had seen pics of that particular red car but the horns don't look exactly the same

I think you are correct about the aiming of the trumpet toward the center rather than the way I mocked it up , Thank you very much !

+ the color is Porsche Cobalt Blue
