Bill,

Car is looking very nice. Is that a SUN 8K tach i see in the dash? Was that with the car when you got it? If so, very nice rare find there.

As for the manifold, it's not a LAT 1 manifold, they were actually the 4 hole Edelbrock F4b.

The "TIGER" letter manifolds were aftermaket, IIRC there are 4 types (some with TIGER in a different orrientation as per SHELBY letter manifolds) One is of ford origin, the others, from various suppliers way back when.

I can look up the others if you want. Either way , they are a nice touch to the engine bay. like the ribbed "TIGER" filter housings.

The Sun tach was with the car and works. It is cleaning up and turning out to be a great car. If I don't end up selling it--and there is pressure to sell it from potential buyers, I will complete all the details and then at the end of the summer, restore the car to near stock condition.

Well, after all that work, my wife does not quite fit the car--a bit too short to reach the pedals. :(
I posted many more pictures of the details of the car, anticipating that I will sell it in the next month or so. Will discuss with those going to Tigers United on the Queen Mary in mid June. Here is a link.

If you are looking for a solid car ready to drive and show, this might be the one.

Bill,

Make sure you wear something really noticable like fire truck emergency green so I'm sure to avoid you....... :D (I still have equity in my house....Hit a few 7-11's, recycle those cans I've been saving, sell a few 1911's, sell a few pints of blood...)
