    I was wondering about the same thing - source of the starter with a problem. I purchased the "Orange Blossom's, Series V starter from British Starters (Classic Car Performance) also and had no problem what so ever.

    This is Shannon's reply "IMI, Hitorque starters, Whittier CA. I shipped them the starter this morning. Rob offered to correct the engagement depth and make it like new....cost of parts only. I think that is generous! I would like to help prevent this happening to others."

    I also have had no problems with my starter.
