1-owner series1

One Owner 1960 Sunbeam Alpine Series 1 #B9004224LRX4240

Complete & Original. 1980’s highest quality restoration to original condition. Maintained, continuously licensed and driven regularly since 1988 whenever the roadway is dry. Accident-free, low mileage, well-loved. See Sales entry.
Perhaps the last single owner Series 1? Certainly it is unique in this condition. My husband bought this Alpine new in 1960, picked it up at the dock in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Together we made the hard decision in the early 1980s to get it back on the road and spared no expense on an authentic no-bondo restoration in Ottawa. Replaced the engine with a S-5 but kept Zenith downdrafts. Since 1988 I've kept it licensed and roadworthy for fair-weather-only fun. Now it's time to find a new home. Please spread the word. The right owner will pay my premium price.

Yes, my car is still for sale. Just reducing the price to C$45,000 for Oct 1.

Went for a spin around town (Vancouver BC) this week in the cool fall air. Will be so hard to say goodbye to such an old friend. It really looks terrific and runs well. How can I help you?
Found in another tool box the adjustable wrench from the original tool kit! Pretty well complete package including soft top (replica), hardtop (original), tonneau cover (original), etc etc etc.
Best, Carolyn
