Wire routing to rear

My car came to me as a bare shell.

That means no wiring harness to use as a Rosetta Stone.

What is the preferred route to take the rear wires out to the tail lights and fuel sending unit?

I imagined it would be on the interior below the driver door, but I don't see a perforation in the tub to gain access to the rear compartment/trunk.

My SV I routed in the corner of the floor-sill up over the rear inner fender and into the trunk. I routed mine on the right-side to keep the wires away from the exhaust.
