Hi All,

I have mounted my new rims and tires on my car and find the front tires stick out of the finder by about an inch but the back tires are flush with the fender.

I know it isn't a big issue but it looks a bit odd to me.

Does anyone know of a place that sells spacers ~ 4X4.25, 7/16 X 20(thread size) ~ I have a Currie built - Ford 8" reared and I need spacers that are 1- 1.25 wide and have the correct bolt pattern.

Does any one have any experience with this ?

Please let me know if you know a good supplier.

Thanks,

Ken

Ken make sure you have enough thread at the end of the studs with spacers, it might be a good idea to look at some bolt on spacers as in the link... Otherwise you can have someone turn a set out of aircraft aluminium to size... Stock pcd is 4x 108 if you are running stock pcd lots of spacer of eBay UK for ford cortinas and escorts which are Zane as alpine.

I have two still in original, wrapping. Let them go cheap $50.00 US dollars plus shipping. These bolt on and then have the mounting bolts as well for mounting the wheels

Hi Chuck,

I tried to email you but all my messages came back as undeliveredable ? My email is:

minda_ken@yahoo.ca

Please email about I guess the bolt size and the width of the spacers; can you please tell me both of these details and then we can move forward from there.

Sincerely,

Ken

PS - a photo or two would be appreciated

Wheel spacers

Anyone looking for custom wheel spacers can check with the Street Rod suppliers. That is a common problem when putting a "clip" under an old car. Street Rodder mag, Rod and Custom, Hot Rod, etc. or just go on-line and ask in a street rod site. Hope this helps.
