It's a nice amateur restoration. The owner died a year ago so not much additional info. He had installed a 5 speed (origin unknown) behind the stock engine (his son, a machinist made an adapter plate). Runs well, or seems to. Damage to passenger door.

I think I want it but I have no idea what it's worth. I'd guess he iwas into it for at least $20k but that's beyond my budget. Anyone have an idea?

I'd say it's worth quite a bit.... easily the $20K he has into it. I've seen these go for upwards of $35K.

Its a sunbeam mk3 by the side portholes.. Last of the talbot line.

The 5 speed would likely be a toyota as that was a popular conversion in the 90s.. Does it have the original trans?

As for value.... Im less optimistic than kevin
