WANTED: 1965 up front suspension for alpine,/ tiger ?

Very easy to determine a s3 and sii apart.

S3 will have a large boot with 2 petrol tanks and provision for vertical mounted spare wheel at the rear bulkhead. Series I/ II will have a shelf in the boot for spare wheel and a tank in the floor bellow it.

S3 will have telescopic shocks in rear. Sii lever arms.

S3 will have adjustable steering column amd organ accelerator pedal.

Sii will have fixed column amd suspended pedals

yup, it's a 3. have no" tanks" either ! but the steering column was a direct swap from the 2 to the 3

I don't suppose a "series 4" windshield and frame will fit a "series 3" will it ? I have a series 2 windshield and frame. I'm staying with the seris 3 suspension. already altered it for the 302.

Series 3, 4 and 5 should be the same windshield with wing windows. All use the same top.

There are however 2 feame types.. One with 5 mounting studs and one with 7 .. You can either drill 2 extra holes or cut 2 studs off if you get a mismatch between body and screen frame

mine has 2 large holes on" each side" , 1 about 8 inches in, and 1 in the center(that I don't believe goes to the frame but is for a bracket holding the center down). SO, Has anyone GOT a windshield and frame to Sell ???? thanks
