Yes, lots of rain. The rain total graphic on the news showed 7.9 inches (radar estimate) in my community.

Part of NWS's SEVERE flood warning for this area.

* UNTIL 845 AM EST FRIDAY.

* AT 852 PM EST, LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

REPORTED CONTINUED FLOODING FROM EARLIER HEAVY RAIN IN THE WARNING

AREA. HEAVY RAIN OVER THE LAST TWO DAYS HAS TOTALED 3 TO 10 INCHES

OVER MUCH OF CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA. NUMEROUS ROAD REMAIN FLOODED

Where I’m at in NE Florida, had some wind, but moved through pretty quick. Some lost power, but not in my area.
I hope everyone in the Carolinas is OK.

Out here in eastern North Carolina, we had torrential rain yesterday with some local flooding near the rivers. Luckily, no property damage to anyone I know.
