Crikey... is he selling it by the word? That's one heck of a shaggy dog story there! Twice, too.

As someone who has owned 13 Spridgets over the years, this one looks in fair to average condition. One selling point is the tranny, of course - that's a very desirable modification. And having a real BMC motor versus the latter Triumph engine is also a plus. But the overall restoration looks pretty sloppy and despite saying the interior was replaced, it doesn't look very tidy. I wouldn't pay a ton for it.

Notice the rear wheel fender shape opening, its round. The early ones had a squared off rear wheel fender opening. It was squared to give added strength and when MG changed the shape to round they found it was weakened. MG went back to a squared off shape and it stayed that way to the end.

Way high for a Midget. If that's what you want, I would keep looking. Both of my B's were 5K or less.

My lord that's expensive! That works out somewhere near £7,000 in GBP for the buy it now price. In the UK £7000 will buy you a show winning Spridget (not a frogeye of course). I'd pay maybe £3500 for that car here. Great cars though; had one for my first car when I was 17!
