First off, nice turnout and the cars are beautiful. You guys should be proud. That silver Alpine gets me everytime a picture of it is posted.

Great venue. Can you tell us about it?

Nick,

Thanks for the compliments on the cars.. lots of people in the club have put in effort on their cars and into that display.

If you are reffering to the LHD silver sunbeam.. thanks for the compiments.. buts its a Tiger IA not an alpine.. just dont have any Tiger scripts or stripes on it.. though they will go on at some point.. as will the LAT bonnet.. like all things.. getting the parts is one thing.. fitting them is another!

Federation square is in the heart of the melbourne CBD (central buisness district) its a public plaza, digital art gallery, modern art gallery, horse racing museum public plaza and gathering space and restraunt area. It was a very contriversial buiulding and still is.. I had many friends who worked on the design and documentation of it.. it might be an aquired taste.. but regardless of opinions on aesthetics.. it works well and people use it..

we had our display on the same day as the australian open tennis final (just down the road) so lots of visitors..

for more info about the building.. go to www.fedsquare.com
