OK, so I caught this film on TV this morning, and lo and behold, it has several scenes of a nice little Sunbeam Tiger! It's a mystery called "Bunny Lake is Missing" and is directed by Otto Preminger and stars the lovely Carol Lynley as well as Sir Lawrence Olivier.
It's full of wonderful 60's street scenes of London - good for lots of obscure car sightings - and has that great 60's British movie feel. And if that isn't enough, it even has "The Zombies" as the musical act - hey, how can you miss?
Good film, safe for the kids, and worth watching if you can find it or download it.
