Sunbeam Alpine Series I-IV & Tiger: Fitting soft top enclosure seals.

This video shows the fitting of rubber seals on the soft top enclosure to a Series IV Alpine. These parts were missing from our car, once fitted they have made a significant difference. Similar seals should be on earlier series Alpines and Tigers but may well be missing from many as they are easy to overlook.

Thanks Tim as usual you provide some great info for the Sunbeam's... Keep'em-on-the-Road

Now I must ask where can I get a set of the Pusher's ?

Dan, I think you will have to source these from someone who is breaking an old car. Perhaps some of the specialists will have some? I've attached a photograph hopefully this might help you track some down.

This is terrific, Tim! I have parted out (our term for "breaking") a couple of SII's and don't recall ever seeing pusher arms. I am going to have to go through my misc. parts boxes very carefully when it comes time to fit the enclosures on my S3 and SIV!

They do look nice! But, first I need to be sure I don't have any laying around, especially at that price!

I found that my "original" '65 SIV (a) ST OD Colour Code 70 has them right where Rootes installed them. Never realized what they were or their purpose. Dug into another set of Covers and found I have them installed in there also:) Amazing what you can learn from what Tim has to offer....Many thanks to you Tim, and the other folks working with you!

Merry Christmas
