Sunbeam Alpine Restoration of the body shell Part III The refit

Tim R

Silver Level Sponsor
This video covers how we refitted Alpi after her return from the paint shop. The process that we followed seemed systematic and logical to us but others may choose to do things in a different order.

Parts I & II of this video covered repairing the metal work of the body, rust proofing her for the future and getting her ready for the paint shop. In Part III we complete the restoration, trimming and refurbishment of the car and return another Alpine to the road. This one is smooth and quiet and fitted with a number of modernisations that make the car much safer, more reliable and easier to live with.

We are not mechanics or professionals, the video is just a record of what we did, we hope that you find it useful and informative.

Don’t forget that there are many more videos covering individual restoration tasks on The Sunbeam Alpine Channel on YouTube. If you haven’t done so already please subscribe to this channel (it wont cost you anything)
