Wayne, that sounds reasonable. I think I will give it a try.
Mike, interesting idea. Its for sure I've never seen a paint that could resist brake fluid. However, I'm beginning to think the dip the pro used did something that denatured the paint so thinners no longer are effective.

No argument there. It is crazy what dangerous crap you can get used to working with. I once had an office right next to a 100,000 gallon pressurized tank that held a chemical that would kill you at a couple hundred ppm.
