With regards to our showing at the Seattle SOVREN Defrost meet, our new engine had damaged a head gasket between cyl. 3 and 4, and was running poorly as a result. Still had problems at Spring Sprints, although managed to get through qualifying before another gasket failure put water into the engine. Working on it, will be at June 30 meet, hopefully with fully operating car. See you there.

I was on turn 4 during the Defrost and 9 the May race. During the Defrost the car had an odd rhythmic exhaust popping sound as it went by. Don't know if that is normal Alpine or not. The speed was good and it looked stable both races. Sounds like you got enough time in to qualify for the Historics so am looking forward to seeing you there! Not sure what turn I will be on but will give you a wave!!!
