WOW - The Airpine is coming, Ed is coming, Scott and Ian are coming and I heard VADER was going to make an appearance! I am hoping to have over 20Sunbeams here for us to enjoy.

Hey Allan, We have received your registration so we now have "the Airpine" registered. Tha's Airpine, Coolcat, and Vader making appearances. Do you know who each of them are?
I just confirmed today that the Hampton Inn is going to give me a two certificates to give away at our fun "free" raffle at our SOS picnic. One certificate will be for one free night at the Hampton Inn for the weekend of the show! Valued at $114.00!!! One will be for one free night for the weekend of the 2010 show. These will be only be raffled to those that are actually spending the night at the Hampton this year. For those of you that are staying at another motel please remind me to throw a ticket for you in the raffle for the certificate for next years show.
TWO WEEKS AWAY!!! Sam, you have your work cut out for you with getting your car up but we know you can do it!
I also just read in another post that Jim E will be selling a late series hardtop at this event. If you offer him enough he will throw in a Series 3 from the "dark side"!
Remember to bring a shoe box of small Sunbeam parts for those that want to participate in a parts swap at the picnic. Also let others know what you need so they can bring it!!!
Sunbeam Specialties also just donated a few items for our raffle so let them know we appreciate it when you place an order!!

I'm still sorting stuff I want to keep from a dismantled SV, and stuff to be made available.
I have a decent front valence I could bring but it's the whole shebang.
Also a complete rear axle drum to drum that I believe has the 4.22 diff.
Also a few odd SV bits. PM me and I will see if what you need is in my small SV inventory.
Stuff I need includes a used (not repro) red lower and upper plastic tail light lens for SIV (no external screws) and a working tach that is reasonably accurate.

Last night we met and prepared all of the registration packets and the little coolers full of goodies for those who attend. We have 100 cars (all makes of British cars) pre registered and if the weather stays like it is now I bet we have 140+ cars show up. This is going to be a great event so don't let your Sunbeam miss it! Eric

We are now less than a week away from the SOS in Columbia, SC. We have as many Sunbeams registered for the show as any other British class. We are hoping to have 20 plus Sunbeams on Saturday. On Friday, we kick off the weekend with a small drive out to Lake Murray for a Picnic and then a short trip to get ice cream before we head back to the motel for the hospitality room party.
We are planning on leaving the Hampton Inn at 3:30pm to head to the picnic. Please shoot me a PM or respond to this post and let me know if you are going to be at the motel for this convoy. I am trying to plan on the burgers / hot dogs and I need to let the Ice Cream Shop know how many of us are coming. I look forward to hearing back from you.

We're hitting the back way, after Athens. It takes a bit longer but the roads are almost void of other traffic

Bonnie will be here for this SOS-though she just had rotator cuff surgery and has to wear a sling and can't drive....we are looking forward to this weekend and seeing all of these great Sunbeams in one place! Drive carefully and we will see you soon. Eric

Hey Jim, I have two old motors out of Series 3 cars that both should have retainer plate if you need one. If you do want one Thursday afternoon will work.
