SI/II Tonneau Cover

The Tintinabulous Tinker's Toss:
This was thought to be the companion piece to my H/T posted on another thread.
Not concours, but in incredible condition.
Still supple and shiny, it's been indoors since the late 70's.
Stitching is in very good usable condition.
(aero) zippers show some oxidation but are in exc. usable condition.
An un-mucked with tear by the right B-post is eminently restorable.
I do not believe you can have this originality and patina from any
repro available.
It would be great if it was Alpine! Thx Michael for your vigilance.
What's it for,..... really.....I mean,... what's it all for?

Cheers, Bill

Bill,

Can you confirm where this attaches at the back. Does it secure in the boot drip rail? The comon SI/II cover had parts that went around the window guides and secured to the front screen and had cutouts for the boot hinges at the rear... but.. i believe there was anther cover that actually secured in the boot drip rail so maybe this is what you have.. as it lacks the front fasteners that went to the screen and cut outs for the hinges.

Yes! you may be right!
What IS this tonneau from?
Not having ready access to an applicable car....
I always thought it to be for an early app. since
it came with the H/T. many years ago.

To be honest if it was going to fit an alpine it would be a later model.. but even then the studs and extra zips seem to be in the wrong locations, wish i could be of more help but the more i look the more i think its not a alpine/tiger cover.
