On our '62 Alpine we have the hard line vacuum tube coming out of the distributor and bending over to the front carburetor. One it about reaches the carburetor, it is crimped and broken off and then there is a rubber hose (about 1/2" long) going onto the nipple at the carburetor.

Is this correct?
