S5 Rear Axle Bearing Paper Gaskets

With a drivers side leak purchased seals and bearing to replace axle bearing on S2 but quickly discovered even though I have owned the car since 1971 it has a S5 axle, so purchased correct bearing/seal assembly.
I have gaskets between .006 and .010, and when disassembled a brown one was removed behind backing plate but have no idea what thickness was since both new are brown. I used a micrometer and it specs around .006.007 but after being smashed for years’ could have started out as a .010?
Are both .060 and .010 required?
